The Royal Kennel Club lists all three Poodle sizes as not shedding, though the coat needs grooming every day. It publishes no such listing for Cockapoos, Cavapoos or Labradoodles, which are not on its breed A to Z. Battersea says Cockapoo shedding varies from very little to noticeable, so ask the rescue about a particular cross.

Not reliably. Battersea says Cockapoos are "not hypoallergenic as coat type varies a lot and no dog is fully allergy-friendly". If someone in your home has allergies, ask the rescue whether you can spend time with the dog before you commit.
