When we looked on 6 November 2026, the youngest were at Paws and People in Banbridge: Binx and Salem, both 3 months old. Almost Home Animal Rescue NI at Moira had Elroy and Ellie at around 18 to 20 weeks, and Assisi Animal Sanctuary at Conlig had three young cats, every one of them already reserved.
Belfast Kitten Rescue won't place a cat near a busy road unless its write-up says it can stay indoors. Almost Home asks on its form whether you would take a bonded pair. In Northern Ireland chipping a cat is your choice, though nidirect advises it.
Assisi asks £100 for a cat or kitten; Paws and People's kittens were £50 and Belfast Kitten Rescue's cats £90 on PAW that day. Searched "kittens for sale Belfast"? Northern Ireland has no Lucy's Law yet (DAERA), so see any bought kitten with its mother first, and report a doubtful seller to Report Fraud.
Each rescue sets its own adoption fee, and Cats Protection says you can expect to pay £80 to £120 on average for an adult cat and £100 to £120 for a kitten, varying between its branches. The fee usually covers neutering, microchipping and first vaccinations, and each rescue confirms its own fee.

Only in England, where cats must be microchipped before they are 20 weeks old. In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland microchipping a cat is your choice. Check the kitten's profile or ask the rescue whether it has been chipped.
At the large charities, the fee pays for that vet work. Cats Protection says its cats are vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and neutered (or come with a neutering voucher if they are young kittens), with a vet health check and four weeks' free insurance. Smaller rescues set their own terms, so ask what a particular kitten has had and whether a vaccination or neutering is still due.

Each rescue sets its own fee for a pair, so ask what it charges. Cats their rescue lists as a bonded pair are on our bonded cats page.

Not here: we only list cats with rescues, so every kitten listed here is adopted for the rescue's fee, which usually covers vet work already done. Whether to buy is your choice. Adopting means the rescue can tell you what it knows about the kitten's history and health before you apply. If you decide to buy a pedigree kitten, Cats Protection suggests a breeder registered with a breed association such as the GCCF, and seeing the kitten with its mother at home rather than buying from a video or social media advert.
