About Snoop

This handsome boy Snoop is now ready to find his forever home. Snoop is a large, rough coated Lurcher who is around 2 years of age he is the happiest, sweetest lad. He landed into our care from the stray pound in an awful state. He was emaciated, had hair loss and as covered in scrapes. He is now finally well enough to look for is forever family. In most ways Snoop is the perfect dog. He loves people, children and other dogs. He is completely non reactive on walks and walks nicely. He is housetrained and travels well BUT… Snoop struggles to be left even with the company of another dog. Due to this Snoop CANNOT be an only dog. He needs other playful dogs in the home. He definitely needs a confident sighthound female as Dizzy his foster sister helps him in droves. He could also live as part of a pack. Any home MUST have someone around all of the time to begin with HOWEVER equally they must be willing to work with us to continue to get Snoop use to being left. We absolutely DO NOT want him going to a home that just accepts they are around most of the time and will not put the work in to build his confidence with alone time. He’s a young boy and does not deserve to carry this level of anxious behaviour for life. Snoop cannot be rehomed with children under 10 as he is a big silly boy and little ones may get knocked over. Snoop can no live with cats or small furries. Snoop is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, neutered and has had his teeth de scaled. He will also be rehomed with 5 weeks free insurance from Agria. Snoop is currently on foster in Widnes and anyone wishing to offer him a home would need to be willing to travel to meet him with all members of the immediate family and any current resident dogs either there or our kennels in Stoke-on-Trent.
