About Kermit

Kermit is a very sweet, friendly bully cross that came to us as a stray. Unfortunately this means we have no history on him, but he is now looking for his forever home where he can be thoroughly spoilt! Kermit has become everyone's best friend since his arrival, he loves a fuss and is very excited to meet new people, although can be unsure of younger children. We feel a home with children aged 12+ would suit him best. He can be quite strong on lead, so will require time spending to work on his lead skills. He does enjoy his walks and is eager to be out and about, so would suit a home that can give him plenty of walks and playtime in the garden. Due to being a flat faced breed new owners will need to take care in the hotter months. Since arriving with us, Kermit will pull towards other dogs to meet, he is very tense and unsure when he does interact. This behaviour is down to lack of positive social skills learnt as a puppy so is looking to be the only dog in the home, but to build his socialisation gradually over time to make him more comfortable to greet dogs. Generally he is a great lad that we hope finds a home soon. He seems to be quite attached to people so he'll be better suited to a home where he won't be left alone for long periods.
