About Brock

Brock is a happy, playful lad that came to us as a stray. Sadly we had no history or previous owners that got in touch so we don't know much about him. He is now looking for a forever home. Brock was handed into a local vets as a stray, and he was very nervous and frightened, and was growly with staff but since coming to NCAR he has settled well and become quite a friendly boy. He can initimated by new things but generally takes things in his stride! He can be nervous of being over handled or restrained (such as at the vets), so he will need owners that can be calm and patient around him until he settles in his new home. He is looking for an adult only home because of his nervous behaviour and we can go into this more with anyone interested. Generally he is a good boy who loves a play and will happily chase balls and toys. He's eager to learn and loves a treat so this will be a great help with his training. He is strong on lead so he will need owners that can physically manage him and put in the work to train him. It would be a great help that his new owners that experince with larger breeds like Brock, but not essential. Brock is friendly with dogs and is happy to interact with them out and about. We are still testing him around dogs but we think he'll best being an only dog in the home as he is a strong, larger dog that needs 1-2-1 attention and training to build his confidence. We will continue to assess him and can look at rehoming him with another dog pending on a suitable home. Please provide lots of information in your rehoming form.
