About Pumpkin

Say hello to Pumpkin our female Staffordshire Bullterrier X who is around 8 months old, she is a gorgeous young girl with a big personality, an even bigger heart and plenty of puppy mischief! Pumpkin is still very much a youngster, and her puppy behaviours are there for all to see. She's an affectionate, fun-loving girl who adores attention and loves nothing more than spending time with her people. She's a big fan of her toys and will happily challenge you to a vocal game of tug of war! She's also very food motivated, which will be a real bonus when it comes to training and helping her learn all those important life skills. When it comes to other dogs, Pumpkin enjoys off-lead time and can have a lovely time socialising. She also enjoys a good rough-and-tumble with dogs who enjoy the same sort of play, so finding the right canine companion will be important. Like many young dogs, Pumpkin can sometimes get a little overexcited and forget herself, occasionally becoming mouthy. This is something her new family will need to continue working on with patience, consistency and positive training. One thing Pumpkin will need some help with is learning to be comfortable spending time alone. She currently struggles with this, so any time-alone training will need to be introduced gradually, building her confidence in tiny steps. Pumpkin could potentially live with a suitable male dog who enjoys her playful style. Cats may also be possible, subject to careful introductions in the home, and children aged 10 and over could be considered. Pumpkin is looking for a loving home committed to continuing her training and helping her mature into a wonderful adult dog. She will need a family who understand that she's still a puppy, with lots to learn, and who can offer her the time, patience and consistency she needs, particularly when building her confidence around being left alone. Pumpkin has so much potential and so much love to give. She's at that lovely age where the world is still one big adventure, and with the right guidance, patience and commitment, she's going to make someone a very special companion.
