The Bichon Frise is a small white toy dog. The Royal Kennel Club describes it as a "little white Mediterranean dog with soft corkscrew curls". It says "bichon" means white dog and "frise" describes the curly coat, and that France was the country where the breed was developed, though the Bichon is thought to have existed on Tenerife as far back as the 14th century.

Very little. The Royal Kennel Club lists the breed as not shedding, and Dogs Trust describes low shedding. The curly coat needs brushing every day instead, to stop it from matting.
Up to 30 minutes a day, according to The Royal Kennel Club. Dogs Trust says Bichons need regular exercise and stimulation but might not manage long or strenuous walks. Ask the rescue about this dog, as age and health make a difference.
It depends on the dog, not the breed. None of the 2 Bichon Frises listed in and around Sefton is marked by its rescue as able to live with children today. Where a profile says nothing, ask the rescue what age of children the dog could live with.
