About Winnie

Winnie can live with children 16+. She would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats and small animals. Winnie is a sweet and friendly little lady who can be a little shy when first meeting new people or in new environments but quickly becomes your new best friend! She’s a strong girl who can pull on the lead when excited to be first out on a walk but this settles down into walking nicely beside you, she likes to stay close. Winnie has bags of character, she loves to have fun and play with her toys and she definitely enjoys treats! This lovely lady has recently spent time on foster, she sadly had to be returned to our care after not getting on with one of the other dogs she was living with. Her foster carers reported that she was great with numerous other dogs when out and about, but it’s clear that she would rather be the only dog in the home. She was around cats, chickens and ducks in her foster home with no issues (although she was rather scared of the ducks!). Her foster carers have gave Winnie a glowing report and said, other than the issues with the other dog, she was an utter delight and would make the perfect companion for a family where she can be the only dog. Winnie is looking for a home that can offer her stability and love with a family to call her own who will offer her plenty of cuddles and her favourite thing – butt scratches! Medical Winnie has had an ear infection which she has received treatment for in our care. As this is now a ‘pre-existing condition’, it will likely be excluded from future insurance policies.
