About Bailey

Bailey is looking for an adult-only home. He could potentially live with another well-matched dog, but no cats or small animals. Bailey is a lovely, friendly young lad who can often get easily overwhelmed by his big feelings! Sadly, Bailey struggles with the kennel environment and so we don’t really get to see his true character until he’s out and about – where he’s like a completely different dog! He has spent some time in our offices with staff, where he is absolutely full of beans and explores everywhere at a million miles an hour! He can be a cheeky chappie and will do things like attempt to scavenge bins – so these need to be kept secure / out of his reach! Bailey can become easily over-aroused and so he has a training plan in place to help him be able to calm back down and make more sensible decisions. He is looking for a sensible and committed family who can continue his training and provide him with clear and consistent boundaries to help him develop into the best dog he can be. We know that, for the right family, Bailey will be absolutely tons of fun to be around and will reward his forever home with so much laughter and affection. He absolutely adores spending time with his humans and loves having a cuddle and being made a fuss of. Whilst Bailey is happy to meet other dogs, he can be vocal towards them and so, if he was to live with another dog, they would need to be well-matched, able to be a calm role model and tolerant of this sort of behaviour. This handsome lad will undoubtedly require time, patience and effort from his new family when he first goes home. He is so full of life and has so much love to give, he just desperately needs a family to give him a chance to become the fantastic boy we know he’s capable of being. Medical Bailey has required treatment for skin issues whilst in our care. Whilst now resolved, any potential rehomers should be aware that, if he were to have any future skin issues, these will likely be classed as pre-existing conditions and won’t be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Bailey’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.
