Hazel

I would like a home filled with love and kindness! I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I will be spayed before going to my forever home! 07-11-26 Hazel is a sweet lady who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is quite timid at the moment, but will gently approach you and give your hands a little sniff and once you spend some time with her she starts to come out of her shell and has a waggy little tail and is happy to have some fuss and attention and even enjoys being picked up. Hazel will need a kind and patient home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and who will allow her to settle in at her own pace. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy children aged 9+. Hazel relies on other dogs for comfort and reassurance and will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who she can look to for comfort and reassurance as she continues to build her confidence and learns about the world around her. Hazel has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be understanding as she learns about all the new experiences that come with home life, including house training and walking on a lead. She may need a little extra time and encouragement before feeling brave enough to venture out and explore, so allowing her to take things at her own pace will be really important. Hazel is a lovely girl who just needs someone willing to give her the patience, kindness and love she needs to find her paws.
