Minnie

This little one needs no introduction, she proved very popular when I posted her last week and it’s not hard to see why! Minnie arrived in our care as an unclaimed stray, she’s a tiny little 2y.o Chihuahua x Jack Russell. But please don’t be fooled by her size, she’s small but mighty!! If you are looking for a dog with character then Minnie is definitely the dog for you! She is feisty, loving and very comical! She is more the size of a chihuahua with ears as big as her!! She arrived in very poor condition and had obviously not been well cared for. She was riddled with fleas and was extremely underweight. She is now looking so much better after a couple of weeks of tlc. I wouldn’t say she’s dog friendly but with careful introductions she could live with a confident bigger dog that won’t tolerate her nonsense!!! She mixes well with our resident stooge dogs but any submissive or dogs lacking in confidence she will not tolerate. If she was human I’d describe her as a bully! But she’d be more than happy living as an only dog and no cats or small furries!! Minnie is super people friendly and can be rehomed with children over 8y.o. She loves her long walks and exploring our secure field. She loves to chase the ball but so far won’t bring it back! Minnie walks well on the lead and travels quietly in the car. As you can see from her photos she also likes to lie in your arms and fall asleep So if you are looking for a fun, sassy little friend then you really should apply to adopt Minnie, you won’t be disappointed
