About Tilly

I can live with older dog-savvy children who understand I need time to settle in. I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure. I'd like a secure garden to potter around in. I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now. Please be patient with me, I haven’t lived in a home before I am spayed and have several teeth extracted and was already missing a few! 22-10-26 Tilly is a very sweet but extremely nervous girly who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. Tilly will need plenty of time to settle into her new home, as she is not comfortable being handled at the moment. Her adopters will need to be patient and take things slowly, allowing her to go at her own pace so that she does not feel overwhelmed. She will need gentle encouragement and the chance to build trust in her own time. Tilly will need another kind and confident dog in her new home. This dog will be a much-needed support system for her, helping to guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. As Tilly has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to understand that these things may take time and be willing to work with her at a pace she can manage. Tilly's adopters will need to have ex-breeding experience to better understand her needs. She can live with older dog-savvy children that are sensible and understand she needs a quiet environment she can settle into. A calm environment, patient adopters and a reassuring canine companion will be important in helping her feel safe. Tilly is a very worried little girl who will need understanding and patience to help her adjust to a new way of life. We hope that with the right support and plenty of time, she will gradually learn to trust and begin to enjoy the love and comfort of a home of her own. She has had a dental with us where she had 12 teeth extracted and our vet noted that she was already missing 15, so she will benefit from a soft food diet moving forwards. Tilly has been given the Gift of Life by Laura Midwinter-Brown
