About Sandy
I can live with older dog-savvy children who understand I need time to settle in.
I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.
I would like a secure garden to spend time in.
I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.
I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.
I will be spayed before going to my forever home!
22-10-26 Sandy is a very sweet lady who has come to us from a breeder and is still getting comfortable with her new surroundings and learning to trust us humans. She has lots of energy, which can sometimes come across as anxious, but she just needs time to settle in and realise that she is safe. Sandy is trying her hardest to brave, and can live with older-dog savvy children who are sensible. She will need her adopters to have experience with ex-breeders to better understand her needs.
Sandy will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and help her build her confidence as she learns all about the big wide world. She has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she learns about house training, walking on a lead and all the things that come with being a much-loved pet.
Sandy will need time to come out of her shell, but watching her confidence grow and seeing her begin to trust her humans will be so rewarding. She just needs someone willing to give her the time and kindness she deserves, and we know she has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
Sandy has been given the Gift of Life by Jo Dennis
