About Ken

Meet Ken! Ken is a cool boy who has settled well into the kennel routine here at Hillcrest! Ken is one of those dogs who looks at you in a way that melts your heart, his grey muzzle and his brindle colourings just seem to catch everyone's eye here at Hillcrest. He has enjoyed learning all about life here at Hillcrest, he potters on the paddock, settles well in our home environment and enjoys getting his nose into enrichment. Ken does need assistance getting into our vans, he does well when guided up a ramp, and once in, he settled well and enjoys the journey. Ken has also been learning all about life beyond Hillcrest, we have been opening his world up slowly, taking him on quieter walking routes, to help him gain confidence of the outside world, and boy has he done well! He likes the slower pace of walk, and enjoys stopping to take in all the sights and sounds that pass him by. He has seen non-sighthound breeds at a distance, and although showed a small amount of interest, he soon walks on by. If you are looking for a lad who prefers the slower paced life, Ken could be the one for you!
