This cheeky, affectionate lad loves being involved in everything and, once he trusts you, will keep you smiling with his playful antics, wagging tail, and loving nature. Dexter is looking for an adult home where he can be the only pet. He’s lived quite a sheltered life, so the world is still full of exciting new sights and smells to explore. A patient family who can help build his confidence at his own pace will see him flourish. He’s a clever boy who responds well to positive, reward-based training and enjoys getting out and about, especially if he has a secure garden to play, sniff, and explore. Dexter can be worried by men, other dogs, and cats, and he finds being left alone difficult, so he’ll need a home where someone is around for much of the day to help him feel safe and settled.
