About Jasmine

Meet Jasmine! She’s Just Looking For Her Person 🤗💖 Tiny Jasmine, who is seven years old, came into our care recently after she was found abandoned in a property. This lovely little dog has never once seen the world, because we think she was born blind. Despite not being able to see she gets around well, and she loves fuss and attention. However, you’ll need to let her know you are there first, with a soft word or a gentle hand held out. Because she can’t see you coming, a sudden touch can frighten her, and she may snap. It’s just her way of saying “I didn’t know you were there”. Jasmine has been staying with a wonderful foster carer, who has discovered that she very quickly bonds with ‘her person’. She has been a little worried by the other dogs in her foster home and can be reactive if they come close while she’s having cuddles. For this reason, Jasmine will need to be the only dog in her new home, so that she can have all of the love for herself. A calm adult-only home would suit her best, as the noise and bustle of lively children would be overwhelming when she can’t see what’s going on around her. This poor little girl’s world has been turned upside down and it is so sad that she is having to deal with new things, new places and new people. Now she deserves a soft bed, a quiet corner and someone who will always say her name before they reach for her. Could that someone be you? If so, we would love to hear from you.
