About Labradoodles in Leeds

No Labradoodles were listed near Leeds when we checked on 29 October 2026, so the poodle cross charities that rehome across the UK are the route. DoodleAid asks you to apply for a specific dog using the adoption form on its process page. It keeps no forms, so you apply again for each dog, and it warns that if you cannot travel for several meet and greets it may not be the charity for you.

Doodle Trust puts every dog into a foster home for a full assessment and any vet care, including vaccinations, a microchip and neutering, before it looks for a family. It matches on suitability rather than first come, first served; if you could suit a dog it contacts you, then arranges a talk with the foster carer, a home check and a visit to the foster home to meet the dog.

What Labradoodles are like to live with

A Labradoodle is "a mix between a Labrador and a Poodle", as Dogs Trust puts it, and Dogs Trust lists it among the popular Poodle crossbreeds. It is not a breed. It isn't on The Royal Kennel Club's Breeds A to Z, so there is no breed standard. The Royal Kennel Club's guide to crossbreeds names the Labradoodle as an example of a "designer dog", and says a cross's traits combine in ways that make it "difficult to predict how the puppies will look and behave". Any one Labradoodle can take after the Labrador, the Poodle, or both.

Labradoodles in Bradford: your questions

Tap a question to expand

How many rescue Labradoodles are available for adoption in Bradford?

As of 8 November 2026, no Labradoodles are listed for adoption in and around Bradford on LocalPetFinder. Rescues add animals all the time, so this page fills as they list them.

Is a Labradoodle a breed?

No. Dogs Trust describes the Labradoodle as a mix between a Labrador and a Poodle, and it is not on The Royal Kennel Club's Breeds A to Z, so there is no breed standard. A cross can take after either parent, so size, coat and temperament vary.

Are Labradoodles hypoallergenic?

Not reliably. Doodle Trust says "No dog is allergy friendly", that a Doodle may shed little like a Poodle or a great deal like a Labrador, and that a puppy's coat can change in adulthood. If someone at home has allergies, ask the rescue whether you can spend time with the adult dog first.

How much does it cost to adopt a Labradoodle in Bradford?

Each rescue sets its own adoption fee. Dogs Trust charges £300 for a puppy or adult dog in England, Wales and Scotland, and Blue Cross fees start from £235 for dogs aged 8 or over and £335 for dogs aged 1 to 7. The fee usually covers neutering, microchipping and first vaccinations, and each rescue confirms its own fee.

Are there Labradoodle puppies for sale in Bradford?

No. We don't list animals for sale. Every Labradoodle on this page is with a rescue or rehoming centre. Rescues rehome animals rather than selling them, usually for an adoption fee: for example, Dogs Trust £300, and Blue Cross puppies under six months start from £525. The fee usually goes towards vet work already done, such as neutering, microchipping and first vaccinations. If you searched "labradoodle puppies for sale Bradford", the Labradoodles here are the rescue route: you apply to the rescue and pay its adoption fee, not a sale price. In England, Lucy's Law has meant since 6 April 2020 that puppies under six months can't be sold by a third party such as a pet shop or dealer: you buy direct from the breeder or adopt from a rehoming centre.

Can I get a free Labradoodle to a good home in Bradford, or one under £500?

Usually not. UK rescues normally ask for an adoption fee, which pays towards neutering, microchipping and vaccinations. Many rescue fees are under £500: Dogs Trust charges £300, and Blue Cross from £235 for dogs aged 8 or over. An animal offered "free to a good home" is usually a private advert rather than a rescue. All dogs in the UK must be microchipped by 8 weeks old, and in England, Wales and Scotland a dog can't pass to a new keeper until it is chipped, so ask to see the microchip details.

Are there Labradoodle puppies for adoption in Bradford?

Not right now: no Labradoodles are listed in and around Bradford today, so there are no puppies either. Puppies do get listed, and rescues can tell you much more about an adult's character, so check back.

Is there a Labradoodle rescue near me in Bradford?

This page lists every Labradoodle with the rescues we list in Bradford and reachable from it, Bradford first and then nearest first, each with its town and distance. You can also see Labradoodles across West Yorkshire. To see what is closest to you, search by postcode with the pet finder on our home page.
