Bentley

Meet Bentley! He wins the heart of everyone he meets and is a big softy with a heart full of love. Bentley was diagnosed with diabetes when he was just a puppy rescued from the streets in Romania. Because of this, not many rescues were willing to take him on but SRS knows all dogs are deserving of a loving home. Has Bentley let his diabetes hold him back?....NOT AT ALL! He is a real trooper when it is time for his once daily insulin injection and takes this with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. When he first moved to the rescue he needed quite frequent blood tests to allow us to get his sugar levels stable and establish him on the best insulin regimen and he took absolutely all of this inches stride. We appreciate the considerations in place when adopting a dog with additional medical needs and the rescue is willing to offer ongoing financial support for anyone willing to give this amazing boy the home he so deserves. Bentley would need to live in a home where he has a strict diet and no temptation from additional treats to keep his sugar levels steady, and for this reason we think he would be best in a child-free home. He is an absolute sweetheart and is so ready for a home to call his own...could you be the one to give it to him?!!
