About Diamond
Diamond has recently found her way into our care through no fault of her own. This gorgeous girl is a real sweety and loves her humans pals. Arriving initially as quite a reserved lady; it hasn’t taken her long to settle and now loves playing, going for her walks and giving the best snuggles.
Diamond is a really clever girl. She already has an impressive list of basic obedience skills including sit, down, both paws and stay and is still eager to learn more. She mostly walks nicely on the lead and enjoys being on her longer lead for a bit of a run around. Diamond would love a family who are interested in putting her clever brain to good use as well as being up for some nice, quieter walks.
Diamond can struggle with being around other dogs and this is something that may require more work once she has settled into her new home. She will initially need to be walked in quieter places and ideally in low dog populated area’s. Diamond has started some training in order to feel braver around dogs and has made some nice progress already but will need further input and management from her new owners. Diamond will need a secure, private garden at home to be able to play in off the lead and will need to stay on her lead when out in public. She will also need to be the only pet in her new home.
Diamond is a very people orientated dog and loves a good cuddle and neck scratch when she knows you. She can be a little shy initially but can soon be won round with some tasty treats. Once feeling a little braver Diamond is super tactile and somewhat unaware of her size trying desperately to fit onto your lap or squeeze next to you on the sofa but this does result in the best snuggles! Diamond would like all of the humans in her new home to be over the age of 14 and although could be left for short periods; is very ‘peopley’ and would prefer her new family to be around for good portions of the day.
Diamond also loves her toys and will happily play fetch and tuggy for as long as you will – soft toys are the favourite! She even brings them all the way back to you ready to be thrown again!
