Sabrina

Sabrina is an approximately 2-year-old, gorgeous black semi-longhaired girl who came into our care as a stray. Although we sadly know very little about her previous life, she has shown us that she is an inquisitive girl who enjoys human company, particularly when it’s on her own terms! Sabrina has a sweet nature but can also be a little sassy at times, especially when she has had enough interaction. Once she gets to know you and feels comfortable, she becomes much more relaxed and will happily enjoy some fuss, cuddles and even a gentle brush. It’s important that her new owners understand and respect her boundaries, paying attention to her body language and allowing her to choose when she wants attention and when she would prefer some space. She is also a playful girl who loves a good game with wand toys, and she certainly isn’t shy when it comes to food! Sabrina is a very keen eater who will happily tuck straight into her meals, although she won’t hesitate to let you know if something isn’t quite to her taste! Due to her independent and occasionally feisty nature, Sabrina would be best suited to experienced cat owners who understand feline behaviour and can give her the time and space she needs. We feel she would be happiest in an adult-only home or one with teenagers aged 15+ who are confident around cats and understand the importance of respecting their boundaries. During her time with us, Sabrina has made it clear that she isn’t particularly fond of other cats or dogs, so she would prefer to be the only pet in the household, where she can enjoy having all the attention and resources to herself. As we don’t know much about her background, Sabrina will need a home away from busy roads, where she can eventually enjoy exploring a safe outdoor environment. She will also need a proper settling-in period indoors before being introduced to the outdoors, allowing her plenty of time to build trust and feel secure in her new surroundings. Sabrina is looking for an understanding and patient home that appreciates her independent personality, respects her boundaries and allows her to build a relationship at her own pace. In return, you’ll have a lovely, playful and affectionate companion who will reward you with plenty of purr-sonality!
