Beautiful Azure is a sweet, gentle girl who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, secure and loved. Azure can be a little nervous, so she needs a patient family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to continue building her confidence. She knows her basic commands and is a very polite lady when it comes to mealtimes, happily sitting and waiting for her dinner to be put down. Azure would be best suited to a calm household with at least one other confident, well-balanced dog who can offer her companionship and reassurance. She does seem to prefer male dogs, although she could potentially settle happily into an established pack. Azure is particularly nervous around vehicles and traffic. Although she has made progress and will now stand and watch vehicles passing rather than trying to run away, she is still uncomfortable in these situations. Her new family must be understanding of this and committed to continuing her desensitisation training at a pace she feels comfortable with. Azure isn’t quite fully housetrained yet, but this is something her wonderful foster family are continuing to work on. Any potential adopter must be prepared to continue this training with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement as she settles into her new home. Could You Be Azure’s Happy Ending? At 9 years old, Azure deserves nothing more than a peaceful, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness, companionship and security. She doesn’t need a busy, adventurous lifestyle. She simply needs someone who understands that confidence takes time, who will celebrate her little achievements and allow her to blossom at her own pace. With the right family, a little patience and a canine companion by her side, we are sure this beautiful girl has so much love to give
