Thunder

Thunder is a lovely, friendly boy who has recently arrived into our care after, sadly, his owners were no longer able to care for him. He is now looking for a new family who can offer him the love, stability and companionship he deserves. Thunder is a sociable boy who enjoys spending time with people and is always happy to make new friends. He already knows all of his basic commands and is very treat-motivated, which will be a great help when continuing his training and helping him settle into his new home. We feel Thunder would ideally be suited to a home with at least one other suitable dog for companionship. He would benefit from having a canine friend alongside him and, hopefully, someone he can enjoy playing, walking and sharing his adventures with. Thunder is an enthusiastic, playful boy and can be jumpy when he gets excited. For this reason, he would be best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy children who are confident and comfortable around larger, energetic dogs. His enthusiasm may simply be a little too much for younger children, as he could accidentally knock them over. At six years old, Thunder still has so much life ahead of him and plenty of love to give. He has all the makings of a wonderful companion and is looking for a family who will give him the guidance, security and affection he needs as he begins this next chapter.
