About Flynn

Hello, I’m Flynn! Chief Volunteer Kisser, Professional Cuddler and Aspiring Sofa Companion. I’m a gorgeous chunky Lurcher with long legs, a big heart and absolutely no intention of keeping my kisses to myself. The volunteers here know that if they stop to say hello, there’s a very good chance they’ll leave with a kiss or two. I’m a big, soppy boy who loves his people, and I’m always delighted when someone has time for a cuddle. I’m also rather good at watching the world go by. I like to find a spot, take it all in and see what everyone’s up to. Then, when the mood strikes, I’m ready to show off my playful side. There’s plenty of fun in me, along with an even bigger helping of affection. I’m getting braver every day, but the world still surprises me sometimes. If something is new, I might need a moment to work it out. A calm voice, a bit of patience and someone I trust beside me make all the difference. Every little adventure helps my confidence grow, and it’s lovely to see more of my personality come out as I go. I can make doggy friends, although I’m still practising my greetings with dogs I haven’t met before. I’d love a family who can help me keep learning at a comfortable pace. I could potentially live with older, dog savvy teenagers who’ll understand if I sometimes need a little breathing room. Mostly, I’m looking for someone to give me a chance. Come and meet me, spend a little time getting to know me, and you might find yourself with a funny, gentle, kiss-giving best friend who thinks you’re the best person in the world. I’ve got all this love to give. Could some of it be yours?
