Apollo

Meet this Gorgeous chap Apollo! Apollo arrived into our care as a stray he was very reserved and shy. He was very unsure of new people, a lead and going for walks. With some love and attention he is now slowly starting to realise that the world isn’t such a scary place. He is still a little unsure of new surroundings so will need a patient home that has time to help him settle in. As he is gaining confidence he is starting to be a very affectionate boy with both staff and volunteers. He is full on and loves to jump all over you and give you lots of kisses!  Apollo needs a calm home with a patient family that has the time to allow him to settle into a new environment. He may need basic training once he has settled and his personality starts to come through. He is going to be a fantastic companion with the right home and a lot time. Apollo needs a home that has owned dogs previously.  Apollo can be rehomed with children who are 16 years and over – subject to a successful meet.  Apollo has interacted well with dogs whilst out on walks, he is very gentle and calm, so he could potentially be rehomed with another dog – subject to a successful meet.  We are unsure how Apollo would react around cats.  No cats for Arlo. Please do not apply for a dog if you have a holiday within the next 3 months. *Applicants that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge
