About Honey Bun

Honey Bun is a beautiful four-year-old tabby girl with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give. She adores human attention and is happiest when she’s receiving fuss, kind words, and, of course, a few tasty treats. Life has been a little unkind to Honey Bun recently. After sadly losing her owner, she found herself caught up in a frightening and confusing situation that turned her world upside down. This former indoor girl suddenly found herself outside, surrounded by unfamiliar sights and sounds, cold, hungry, and unsure of what was happening. Thankfully, those difficult days are behind her now. Honey Bun is safe, warm, and making up for lost time by enthusiastically embracing every meal and treat that comes her way! She’s still working on regaining some weight, but she’s making wonderful progress. Honey Bun also developed a flea allergy which caused some fur loss around her tail and back end. Her coat is already on the road to recovery, and with a little more time, she’ll soon be back to her full tabby glory. While Honey Bun previously lived alongside other cats, she was never especially attached to them. She’s currently sharing space with several feline neighbours and has made it clear that she’d much rather be polite acquaintances than lifelong best friends. She isn’t aggressive at all, just occasionally voices her opinion with the odd hiss when another cat gets too close for comfort. We think she tolerates other cats perfectly well but doesn’t particularly seek out their company. This lovely girl could happily live with another calm, respectful cat, but she’d be equally content soaking up all the attention as your one and only feline companion. Honey Bun has a very sweet, submissive personality. She’s the sort of girl who’ll quietly step aside rather than argue, even when food is involved and she’s still trying to regain weight. She has a soft, gentle soul and would thrive in a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and loved. When she’s not enjoying cuddles or snacks, Honey Bun likes to let her playful side shine. Give her a catnip kicker toy and she’ll happily roll around, kick, tumble, and entertain herself with great enthusiasm. As Honey Bun has always been an indoor cat, we’re looking for an indoor home with plenty of safe space for her to explore, play, and relax. Like all indoor cats, she needs enough room for exercise, enrichment, and all the important cat activities that keep her happy and healthy. A small flat would not provide the space she needs to truly thrive. After everything she’s been through, Honey Bun deserves a happy ending. All she asks for is a warm home, a comfy spot to nap, plenty of love, room to stretch her paws, and perhaps a few extra treats along the way.
