About Lenny

Lovely Little Lenny Looking for His Safe Haven Meet handsome Lenny , a sweet little chap with a story behind those big tomcat cheeks. Lenny arrived with us as an unneutered stray, carrying the scars of life on the streets. He came in with a very nasty abscess on his neck and had clearly been having a tough time fending for himself. His ear bears a few battle scars, and one eye is slightly smaller and a little droopy. Our vet has checked this thoroughly and confirmed there’s no infection or medical concern. It simply appears to be the result of an old injury from his days as a street lad. The good news? Lenny has left his rough-and-tumble life behind and is now discovering just how nice it is to be cared for. He’s a friendly little boy who enjoys attention, loves being stroked, and will happily accept treats whenever they’re on offer. In fact, treats are one of his favourite things in the world. The other is finding cosy places to nap. His beloved igloo bed is a firm favourite, and he’s also rather fond of climbing. Whether it’s his own cat tree or the communal cat trees outside his pen, Lenny likes being up high where he can survey his kingdom. We suspect there’s a bit of a tree-dweller hiding inside him. As for other cats, Lenny isn’t particularly impressed by them at the moment. Given that most of his interactions with other felines have probably involved defending himself, that’s not entirely surprising. We haven’t had him long enough to know whether this might change with time. If he were to live with another cat, introductions would need to be exceptionally slow and carefully managed over several weeks rather than a few days. However, we think Lenny would be happiest having a home all to himself, where he can finally relax, feel secure, and enjoy being someone’s cherished companion. Lenny can occasionally get a little nibbly when he’s feeling overstimulated, so we’d be looking for either an adult-only home or a family with older, cat-savvy children who understand feline boundaries. After spending so long looking after himself, we want Lenny’s future to be very different from his past. He is seeking a safe, indoor-only home with plenty of room to explore, climb, play, and snooze. Like all indoor cats, he needs a spacious environment with lots of enrichment, so a small flat would not be suitable. Lenny has done enough surviving. Now it’s his turn to simply live, love, and feel safe. Could you be the person who shows this brave little lad that his best days are still to come?
