About Doc and Marty
Doc & Marty — The Dynamic Duo
Doc and Marty are the kind of brothers who make you wonder why anyone ever adopts a single cat. These two are living, purring proof that young cats thrive with a partner in crime. They arrived as feral babies — terrified, and glued together like two fuzzy magnets — and with time, patience, and gentle handling, they’ve blossomed into sweet, curious young lads who can be picked up, stroked, and loved.
They’re still a little timid, but their confidence is growing every day. They’ve discovered the joys of toys, treats, and chaotic play sessions that usually end with one of them zooming past like a furry rocket.
Meet the Boys
Doc (tuxedo) The confident one. The purr machine. The boy who leans into strokes like he’s been waiting his whole life for this moment. He’s brave, bright, and absolutely ready to charm his way into your heart.
Marty (all black) The shyer brother. He’s still figuring things out, but he’s making wonderful progress. Marty watches Doc for cues, then gives things a go himself — a little hesitant, a little cautious, but oh so determined. He’s going to be a sweetheart once he fully settles.
Both boys are great with other cats and bring a calm, gentle energy to any feline group.
What They Need
Doc and Marty need an adopter who understands that confidence doesn’t appear overnight. They’re on the path to becoming melty lap cats, but they need time, patience, and a calm environment to get there.
Because they’re still timid, they can’t be homed with young children. Older children with cat experience could be a lovely match.
They also need plenty of indoor space — room to zoom, wrestle, nap, and grow into the magnificent adult cats they’re destined to be. We think they’ll become big softies, so a larger home with lots of enrichment is ideal. And of course, they need a forever home where they’ll be kept safe for life. With cats living around 20 years , this is a long‑term love story.
A Bond That Can’t Be Broken
Doc and Marty share history, bravery, mischief, and a whole lot of heart. Separating them would break their spirits — and honestly, rob you of half the entertainment. We never separate bonded pairs, and these two are bonded in the truest, sweetest way.
If you’re ready to welcome two sweet, slightly shy, endlessly charming boys into your home, Doc and Marty are ready to begin their next chapter with you.
