About Alanis and Kimi
Alanis & Kimi – The Anti‑Human, Pro‑Cat Besties
Meet Alanis and Kimi: two bonded girls united by a shared belief that humans are… suspicious, but other cats are absolutely fabulous. They arrived separately as feral youngsters, took one look at each other, and instantly formed a tiny, black‑and‑white girl gang. They’re now inseparable — often found curled up together like a monochrome yin‑and‑yang.
Alanis is the petite one, a classic tuxedo with a dash of artistic flair: a white face marking, a cheeky black smudge on her nose, and a black chin that makes her look like she’s permanently plotting something. She’s estimated to be slightly older, though Kimi’s legs have now overtaken hers in the “who can grow taller” competition.
Kimi is the long‑legged supermodel of the duo, with lots of white on her face and an adorable pink nose that screams “I’m cute, but don’t touch me.”
Both girls are still hissy — not in a dramatic, claws‑out way, more in a “we’re not emotionally prepared for your affection, thank you” way. They do enjoy humans bringing food, treats, toys, and especially catnip mice (those are basically their version of a spa day).
Stroking, however… well, they tolerate it with the enthusiasm of someone being asked to fill out a tax return. They’ll accept it, but they won’t pretend to enjoy it. Not yet.
These two need a calm home with one or two patient humans who understand that trust takes time — and that the best love stories are slow burns. With space, kindness, and zero pressure, they’ll eventually transform into the cuddly, purry housecats they’re destined to be.
They’ll need a spacious indoor home where they can zoom, play, hide, observe, and slowly realise that humans aren’t so bad after all. After suffering from birth until rescue, they deserve a forever home where fear is a thing of the past and safety is their new normal.
If you’re ready to offer unconditional love, patience, and a lifetime of catnip mice, Alanis and Kimi are ready to start their next chapter — together.
