About Barney

Barney's owner went into hospital and his son could not take him in as he already had 4 dogs. A neighbour held him for 24 hours and then a pound-puller friend arranged for him to go into a Shar Pei Rescue. But, on arrival it was clear he was an Akita x Shar Pei and was unfair to mix with 7 dogs there. Was approached 10pm and the transporter had nowhere to place him as they had to head back north and couldn't take him back with them. We opened our doors at 11.30pm and took Barney in, saving his life. Barney is now neutered, chipped, and undergo vaccinations. Barney is in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.
