Hi, I’m Crunchie, I’m sadly looking for a new home as I wasn’t getting on with the other cats in my previous home. If you would like to know more about me, please read on! My personality: I’m a big bruiser of a boy, but my personality is as soft as my chubby cheeks! I need a little time to get to know new people and can initially give a little hiss when I’m not sure, but once I’ve got to know you, I’m such a sweet and friendly boy and I’m very loved by the staff and volunteers here! I’m a total lap cat and love to spend time in the company of those that I know well, I have a big purr and love to stretch out when I’m getting fusses; I also will gently lick faces and arms when I’m happy and enjoying fusses. I can be picked up for cuddles and will occasionally let you rub my tummy in short bursts, but beware, I do dribble when I’m getting fusses as I enjoy them so much! Children: I have previously lived with children and could live with older sensible children if they’re gentle with me. Other animals: I need to be the only pet in my new home so that I can have all of the attention to myself! I wouldn’t like to live with other cats as I will fight with them. I’ve not met dogs, but as I can be shy, I wouldn’t like to live them either. Additional needs: In my new home, I will need a secure garden where I can be safely contained with either a catio, or cat proofed fence as I’m a flu carrier. These preventative measures need to be in place to prevent me from passing the virus to other cats. I’m a very clever boy and have learnt to use my cat flap here at Raystede, so I would be able to access my special outside area via a cat flap to come and go as I please.
