About dog adoption in Pembrokeshire
This page covers the Pembrokeshire council area. No rescue lists dogs in Pembrokeshire or within about 25 miles of it on LocalPetFinder right now, so the page is empty for the moment. The nearest of our main area pages is Llanelli, about 29 miles away.
Every profile links to the rescue that has the animal, and you apply with them directly: the rescue runs its own process and tells you its adoption fee. Listings are updated regularly, so it is worth checking back.

Are there dog rescues in Pembrokeshire?
No rescue currently lists dogs in or near Pembrokeshire on LocalPetFinder. That does not mean there are none in the area: we only show rescues whose animals we list. The nearest of our main area pages is Llanelli, about 29 miles away.
How does adopting a dog near Pembrokeshire work?
Pick a dog on this page and apply with the rescue named on its profile. LocalPetFinder is not a rescue: each rescue runs its own adoption process, which can include meeting the dog and a home check, and sets its own fee. If the rescue is a drive away, expect to make the trip at least once.

Is LocalPetFinder the same as Petfinder?
No. LocalPetFinder is an independent UK website and is not connected with Petfinder. We bring together dogs, cats and rabbits from UK rescues and rehoming centres, and every profile links to the rescue that cares for the animal, so you apply with them directly.
How is LocalPetFinder different from Pets4Homes?
Pets4Homes describes itself as the UK’s largest online pet marketplace, connecting buyers with breeders as well as shelters and charities. LocalPetFinder is for adoption: our listings come from rescues and rehoming centres and from owners rehoming their own pet, each checked by a reviewer before it goes live. We do not take adverts from breeders.
Can I find RSPCA animals on LocalPetFinder?
No. We do not list the RSPCA’s animals, at its national centres or its branches. To see them, use RSPCA Find a Pet, the RSPCA’s own search for animals in its centres and branches across England and Wales.
