🐾 MEET COCOA – A LITTLE DOG WITH A HUGE PERSONALITY! 🐾 Cocoa is a tiny little Belgian Malinois cross with the biggest personality, and she’s looking for that very special person who will finally give her the life she deserves. ❤️ Cocoa hasn’t had the easiest start in life, and some of that has understandably left its mark. She’s a nervous girl who can be a little guarded around people she doesn’t know, particularly those who don’t understand her ways. But please don’t let that put you off. Once Cocoa gets to know you, trust you and understands that she’s safe, you’ll discover a super-loving, affectionate little girl who has so much love to give. Like all Mali’s, Cocoa is incredibly intelligent. She’s a smart cookie who enjoys having a purpose, keeping busy and, most importantly, keeping that clever little mind occupied. She will need firm, consistent boundaries because she can be a bit of a cheeky madam if given the opportunity! Cocoa gets along well with other dogs, but we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in her home, where she can have her person all to herself. So, what sort of home does Cocoa need? 🏡 A quiet, settled home without lots of hustle and bustle. ❤️ Someone who understands nervous dogs and is willing to build a relationship based on trust and consistency. ⏰ A structured routine is incredibly important. Cocoa thrives on knowing what’s happening, what’s expected of her and what comes next. 👨‍👩‍👧 A home with children aged 16+ only. Cocoa isn’t a fan of chaos, noise or lots of activity around her. 🧠 Someone who will give her appropriate mental stimulation, boundaries and an outlet for that clever little brain. Cocoa doesn’t need a busy household or a home full of people coming and going. She needs calmness, predictability and, above all, her person. Someone who will become her safe place, show her what to expect from life and give her the confidence to finally relax and just be a dog. In return, we believe Cocoa will give that person an incredibly special bond. Once you’re in her circle, you’re very much in it! She’s not going to be the dog for everyone, and that’s okay.
