About Ada

Introducing the rather cheeky Ada, who is a 7 month old Jack Russell Terrier. Ada arrived with us due to not being happy with the children in the home, so therefore is looking for an ADULT only home without visiting children. When Ada first arrived we could see that she hasn't seen much and can get worried in new situations, especially when meeting new people and other dogs, she can then become quite vocal. We have been working with her in these areas and she has been making progress, but her new owners will need to live locally to us, so that she can have a few visits to help her get to know her new owners. Ada will need an EXPERIENCED terrier owner who knows their ways and are happy to take her to training classes as this will help her bond with her new owner but also help her become a well adjusted adult dog. Ada will also need to be the ONLY pet in her new home but we feel she would benefit from having regular dog walking friends as once she gets to know her fellow friends then she enjoys having some off lead fun with them, but Ada will need to be kept on lead when out and about until she perfects her doggy etiquette as she can get over stimulated at times. Ada will also be looking for a home in a rural/village location to help her confidence when out and about. Ada is one busy girl and she will be sure to keep you on your toes and once she makes friends with you, then she is your friend for life. We feel owners who like agility or are looking for a running partner would be perfect for her as she likes to be kept mentally and physically stimulated to keep her from becoming bored. If you have the time and dedication to put into Ada and can offer the home that she needs and help her flourish in her new home then we would love to hear from you. Please note, we are unable to take applications by phone, so we kindly ask that anyone who is interested to please fill in an application form so that we can review them. We anticipate there will be a lot of interest, so please be patient while we find them a match and arrange viewings. Unfortunately, we are unable to get back to everyone, so please keep an eye on our website for our other dogs who are looking for forever homes. Thank you for your support and understanding.
