About Jaq

Jaq is a Lurcher aged approximately five or six years old. The most affectionate, sensitive little chap he really deserves a good home after his awful past. Jaq arrived with Gus one evening after having been dumped together in a bus station. They were incredibly stressed on arrival and didn't know where they were, or what was happening. Both were very underweight and took some time to settle. Gus went into foster first and he has now found his forever home, but poor Jaq is still waiting five months later, as of October 2026 for his chance of a forever home. Jag is currently in foster with two older female Greyhounds. Jaq has more energy than the Greyhounds and would like longer walks and getting out and about more, he would suit an active family. He walks well on the lead and doesn't really bother with other dogs whilst on walks, he would rather sniff and investigate and explore his surroundings. Jaq gives incredible welcomes to everyone, he gets very excited and for this reason, we would prefer him to be homed with older children who he can play with and not knock over when he's feeling very happy! There is no malice in this chap, just joy at company and playing . Jaq can now be left for short periods and is housetrained. He is just waiting for someone to please give him a chance. Jaq is neutered and can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
