About Wynter

Wynter is a three year old, female, German Pointer x German Shepherd and she’s looking for her forever home. When you’re at home with her, Wynter is calm, well-behaved, and loves to be as close to her family as much as possible. If she’s alone in the home, she can be destructive. Wynter is fully house-trained and understands some commands. When out walking she may pull on her lead. She has been used to living with children of all ages and another dog. Please enquire. Wynter's Assesment • Wynter is fully vaccinated and microchipped but hasn’t yet been spayed. • When left alone in the house, Wynter will behave destructively, especially if she can grab a letter or anything plastic. • Once you arrive home, she’ll be pleased to see you. • When you’re in the house with Wynter, she’ll be calm and well-behaved. She loves to be on the couch and close to her family as much as possible. • If someone is at the front door she becomes protective and will bark. • Wynter eats Step Up Naturals kibble. • She behaves nicely whilst waiting for her meals. • Wynter is fully house-trained. • She’s not had obedience training but she does understand the commands: sit, stay, come here, leave it, paw, and recall (when off lead). • Wynter is walked once a day and will sometimes pull on her lead. • She's been okay around most strange dogs unless one is behaving excitably or aggressively, in which case Wynter will behave the same. • Wynter has lived with children of all ages. She has been very gentle with them and has never been reactive with them, even around meal times. • She’s never lived with or been around cats, however, she has lived with another dog. • Wynter can sometimes be reactive towards the other dog she’s lived with and would be happier on her own.
