About Koda

Koda is a gorgeous little Pocket Bully with so much potential, but he's going to need a special kind of home to help him reach it. Koda came to us through the dog warden after being found abandoned. Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what he's been through, but it's clear he's a nervous lad who needs time to build trust with new people. He's incredibly food motivated and already knows a few tricks! If there are treats involved, he's more than happy to show you what he can do and learn something new. However, we want to be completely upfront. Koda isn't a dog who will instantly settle into a busy family home. He needs patience, understanding and someone willing to let him build confidence at his own pace. We would expect potential adopters to visit Koda several times before taking him home, allowing him to become familiar with them and build that all-important trust. 🌟 What Koda Needs: A quiet, calm and stable home No children or other pets A patient owner who understands nervous dogs Several meet-and-greets before adoption A home with minimal visitors, particularly during his first few months Someone happy to use positive, reward-based training to build his confidence Koda doesn't need a busy lifestyle or constant excitement. He needs a peaceful environment, a consistent routine and someone who will allow him to settle without pressure. He's already shown us how clever and willing to learn he can be. Now he needs a person who can help him feel safe enough to show the rest of his personality. If you can offer Koda the quiet, patient and loving home he deserves, please apply today.
