Dora

Dora is a beautiful young girl who has recently come into our care. After checking her microchip, we discovered she's actually just turned 1! Being a Presa Canario, Dora is going to be a BIG girl! In fact, she should already be bigger than she is, but we believe her difficult start in life, including malnourishment and suspected mistreatment, may have affected her development. Despite everything, Dora has a lovely nature and is already showing us what a fantastic dog she can be. She's still young, with plenty to learn, but she's making brilliant progress! What we're looking for: Dora needs a home with someone who has experience handling large, powerful breeds and understands the importance of training, structure and clear boundaries. She's a lovely girl, but as she continues to grow, it's important that her new owners are confident and committed to guiding her in the right direction. With the right training, patience and consistency, we genuinely believe Dora will grow into an incredible companion. Dora has so much potential. She just needs someone willing to put in the time to help her reach it. ❤️
