About Boira

Boira, whose beautiful name means 'mist' in Catalan, is a young lady with a whirlwind of energy and a whole lot of love to give! At just 11 months old, she is everything you'd expect from an 11 month old bearded collie cross. She's full of enthusiasm, always ready for the next adventure and struggles with the concept of "slowing down". Boira is looking for an active home who can provide her with both the physical exercise and mental stimulation required of a young collie. As she's very much still a youngster, she needs people who are willing to invest the time, patience and consistency into her on-going training. Due to a combination of factors, breed being one of them, Boira can be quite frustrated when she sees other dogs on lead. She also has a habit of taking things that she believes to be hers and that isn't always the case. She is working with her handlers on these things and is doing very well. She will require someone who is committed to helping her learn that "what's mine is yours" doesn't always apply to dogs! A secure garden would be nice but not a necessity if her new family are able to provide the exercise she requires outside the home. Boira has found herself looking for a new home due to an energy level mismatch between her and her previous owners. She is a lot! She's now looking for someone who can embrace her enthusiasm, provide the guidance she needs and help her channel that energy into something productive. There's a ray of sunshine behind every misty morning - could you be Boira's?
