Rabbit rescue near Brighton

On 5 November 2026 Raystede near Ringmer showed more rabbits on its own pages than any other rescue near Brighton, most of them in pairs. It charges £50 a rabbit, vaccinated against myxomatosis and both strains of VHD, and can bond a single rabbit with yours for £30. It wants at least 3m x 2m x 1m of living space, and its rabbits are never to be shut in a hutch, even at night.

Wadars charges £50 for one rabbit or £80 for a pair, neutered, chipped and vaccinated, but had none listed that day. Worthing searchers can also try our Worthing rabbits page.

Are there rabbits for sale in Brighton?

No. The rabbits on our pages belong to rescues, which rehome them for an adoption fee rather than selling them, so if you searched "rabbits for sale Brighton", Raystede near Ringmer is the place to start.

Raystede charges £50 a rabbit and Wadars £50 for one or £80 for a pair.

Can I adopt one rabbit to keep with mine?

Yes, at Raystede: once you reserve a rabbit, it bonds the two at the centre for about two weeks, for £30. It says rabbits should live in pairs or groups.

LocalPetFinder and other pet sites

Tap a question to expand

Is LocalPetFinder the same as Petfinder?

No. LocalPetFinder is an independent UK website and is not connected with Petfinder. We bring together dogs, cats and rabbits from UK rescues and rehoming centres, and every profile links to the rescue that cares for the animal, so you apply with them directly.

How is LocalPetFinder different from Pets4Homes?

Pets4Homes describes itself as the UK’s largest online pet marketplace, connecting buyers with breeders as well as shelters and charities. LocalPetFinder is for adoption: our listings come from rescues and rehoming centres and from owners rehoming their own pet, each checked by a reviewer before it goes live. We do not take adverts from breeders.

Can I find RSPCA animals on LocalPetFinder?

No. We do not list the RSPCA’s animals, at its national centres or its branches. To see them, use RSPCA Find a Pet, the RSPCA’s own search for animals in its centres and branches across England and Wales.
