About Barney and Sonny

Slappy chappies!. Needs Outdoor Access. Hi hoomans! We’re Barney and Sonny who came to the rescue when we were left behind by our hoomans. The volunteers are not entirely sure if we’re brothers or if one’s the dad (our paperwork wasn’t exactly thorough), but we do know one thing… We’re family… and we behave exactly like it. I’m Barney. I’m the friendly one. I love fuss, I love people, and I like to think before I leap. Apparently I have “Disney eyes” that help me convince the humans to hand over treats. And I’m Sonny. I’m in charge (According to me). Someone has to supervise things, inspect every food delivery and remind Barney who’s boss. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. I’m also friendly with a touch of sass as needed! We spend most days lazing around, sharing sunbeams and following the volunteers around… …until one of us looks at the other the wrong way. Then it’s Slappy Chappies™ . One minute we’re best mates, the next we’re exchanging a few well-placed paw baps before pretending nothing happened five minutes later. It’s just sibling rules. There is, however, one thing we both agree on… CHICKEN! Forget who’s boss. Forget personal space. Forget manners. If chicken appears, it’s every cat for himself. No prisoners. No regrets. When we’re not busy supervising the humans, demanding snacks or having our daily disagreement over absolutely nothing, we’re dreaming of the furever home we really want to come our way. Could that be yours?
