What Belgian Malinois are like to live with
The Royal Kennel Club lists the Malinois as the Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois), a "versatile herding and armed services dog". It says these dogs are agile and fast, are widely used by the police and armed forces, and "have an appetite for work, being watchful, wary and highly intelligent".
That describes the breed, not one dog. A rescue Malinois may be a cross, and each has its own history. The rescue knows how this particular dog behaves at home, on the lead and with visitors, so ask them.
