About Lulu

Meet Lulu!  When Lulu first arrived with us, she was a very nervous and timid girl who wasn’t quite sure of her surroundings.  However, with time, patience and kindness, she has really started to come out of her shell, and what a lovely little character she is.  Lulu is a very sweet girl who absolutely loves a fuss and enjoys attention from the people she knows and trusts.  She has made some lovely progress and is showing her little personality more everyday.  Now, we should mention that Lulu does have a cheeky side!  She’s quite the escape artist and will often try to sneak past staff when they enter her kennel.  She’s certainly a girl who likes to keep us on our toes, so her new adopter will need to be mindful of open doors and make sure the can’t make a great escape!  Lulu also has a sensitive tummy, so she is currently fed on sensitive dog food to help keep this settled.  As Lulu was initially quite nervous, she may need a little time to settle and build her confidence in a new home.  She will need a patient, understanding family who are happy to let her take things at her own pace, giving her the love and reassurance she needs to feel safe and secure.  This sweet girl deserves a loving forever home where she can continue to blossom and show just how wonderful she really is.  She will need a private secure garden. Lulu has socialised well with other dogs while in our care, so we feel she could potentially be rehomed with another dog following a successful meet and greet (must be neutered). We are unsure how Lulu would react around cats. As Lulu came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on her, so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years. If you have a holiday booked in the next 3 months, please wait until you return to apply for a dog. *Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
