About Theo

Meet Theo! Theo has a big heart and plenty of love to give.  This friendly, affectionate boy absolutely thrives on attention, and the more fuss and cuddles he gets, the happier he is!  Theo loves getting out and about on walks (he does walk better on a harness) but his favourite time of days is his off-lead time in our secure compound where he can run around and chase his favourite toys.  He does know some basic commands like sit, paw and speak and is very eager to please.  Theo can bark to get your attention and tends to jump up when he gets excited.  He will benefit from a family who can continue working with him on his manners and help him learn calmer ways to ask for attention.  Theo is a fun-loving affectionate boy who has so much love to give.  He would love a home where he can enjoy his walks, have plenty of playtime and, most importantly, receive all the love and attention he deserves.  Theo will need a private secure garden so he can safely have off-lead time with his toys. Theo has socialised with other dogs while in our care, he will have a quick sniff but isn’t too bothered about them, so we feel he would be happiest being the only dog in the home where he can receive 100% of the attention and cuddles. Theo has a Grade 1 Heart Murmur, this will be discussed in more detail with the successful applicant. No cats for Theo. As Theo came into us as a stray we have no previous history on him, so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years. If you have a holiday booked in the next 3 months, please wait until you return to apply for a dog. *Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
