About Kitty 1

Dear little Kitty was found as a stray by a lovely lady who realised Kitty had taken up residence in her garden. She immediately noticed that Kitty had a problem with one of her back legs so the lady sought help from ARC as Kitty was not microchipped. After several vet visits and consultations with an orthopedic vet it was decided that the leg could not be repaired and should be removed. However, whilst waiting for the surgery, Kitty showed that she was increasingly able to use the damaged leg so the decision was taken to leave her leg. Kitty is incredibly agile and behaves just like any other cat. She only needs pain relief very occasionally. ARC will cover the cost of any treatment that Kitty needs for a leg in the future providing she is seen at Twickenham Veterinary Surgery or Feltham Vets4Pets where ARC has accounts. Kitty also has a skin condition for which she is on a low steroid dose which is keeping this at bay. It also has the added advantage of helping any inflammation in her ‘bad’ leg! FOSTER HOME UPDATE: Kitty is incredibly friendly and docile. She lets you cuddle her like a baby and gently hold her paws. She likes looking out windows, snuggles, chasing string, watching tv, rolling on carpet and chewing kitchen roll tubes. She doesn’t like the hoover or foxes! She’s a plucky little thing full of sweetness and determination.
