About Lorna

Lorna is a very sweet girl who can be quite wary of new people and unfamiliar things. She may need a little time to feel comfortable, but once she knows and trusts you, her boisterous and playful side really comes out. Her favourite place is curled up on the sofa with you, and she absolutely loves a cuddle. Lorna enjoys spending time with her people and will happily settle in for some affection. Lorna loves playing with her toys, especially soft toys, and she is very food and treat motivated. This makes her keen to learn and a great candidate for positive-reinforcement training. Lorna can be strong on lead and will need someone who is confident handling her and willing to continue working on her lead manners and general training. Lorna has been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia. This is something her new family will need to be aware of and take into consideration when caring for her. She will benefit from a home that can support her physical wellbeing, maintain an appropriate exercise routine and follow any future veterinary advice to help keep her comfortable. Lorna will need a family who can give her patience, consistency and plenty of positive guidance as she continues to build her confidence and learn. Her new family should be prepared to put time into her training and help her develop good habits. Lorna will need multiple meets with her prospective family, to ensure she is comfortable and that her new home is the right match for her.
