Bandit

Some of you may remember me, I am one of the 3 kittens that were found dumped in a plastic box outside some shops back in February, our finder found us and took us to the sanctuary where they knew we would get the care we deserved. There was 4 of us but sadly upon discovery our finder opened the lid slightly to see what was inside and one of us ran out and sadly despite our carers best efforts there were just no sightings to be reunited. We were severely malnourished more so my younger sister Bluey and Bingo so we were taken straight into a foster home with one of our carers so that we could have closer monitoring and so we can be fed more frequently to help us build up some strength and gain weight. Our bad luck didn’t stop there… After a few weeks of being in foster our foster mummy knew something wasn’t quite right when we kept having loose stools, faecal samples were taken which later showed that we had a nasty parasite called giardia. The decision was made for us to come back to the sanctuary where they could do stricter cleaning to help fight the giardia quicker! After some horrible medicine for a couple of weeks we soon got the all clear for this and were on our way to finally being able to start our vet work! I can be a bit wary at first but it really doesn’t take long for me to gain your trust. I am a very sweet boy that just loves to give head bumps and kisses. I will accept being picked up however I do like my own space too, I get very squirmy when I’m not comfortable with something. I love playing rough and tumble with Bluey and Bingo although I can be a bit too rough sometimes and get told off by them! I just forget they are smaller than me, I don’t mean any harm! Home I am looking for… I am looking for an indoor only home due to my slightly sensitive side my carers feel I will get easily spooked outside, which may put me in dangerous situations or get me lost! I must be homed with my 2 younger sisters Bluey and Bingo as a trio. If someone out there is looking for 3 loveable or mischievous cats then we could be the trio for you! I loved the toddler in my foster home however due to my sensitive side I would be better in a home with older kids 13+, I need patient owners who won’t push me and will allow me to come to them when I am ready for some fusses. I can be very hand shy with people I don’t know and get easily worried, I will happily come to you and play with you but it may be a couple meets before I am comfortable enough to allow you to fuss me show you my true loving side. Unfortunately I was very fearful of dogs and completely freaked out so for this reason I couldn’t be homed with a dog. A garden with a secure catio or cat-proofed fencing would be great so I can have some safe outdoor access but this isn’t essential I will be just as happy staying inside as long as I have lots of toys and things to climb on!
