Tucker

Tucker, a 7-year-old Blue Bull Lurcher, arrived at Bleakholt as an unclaimed stray from another organisation. This means we have no information about his life before rescue. He’s a friendly boy with everyone he meets, though he can be quite bouncy. A confident handler would be best suited to him. Tucker enjoys walks and playing in our exercise area but can get giddy and excitable. He walks well on lead and harness and has been okay with other friendly dogs while on walks. However, due to his limited background, we think a pet-free, adult-only home with experience in large breeds would be best for him. During his time at Bleakholt, Tucker has had a few sleepovers with one of our wonderful volunteers. Unfortunately, separation anxiety was discovered. He will need an understanding and patient owner, but with time, Tucker would make a great companion for a single person, a couple, or a family of adults.
