Otis

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace. I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden with 6ft+ fences. I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I will be neutered before finding my forever home. 21-09-26 Otis has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is a very nervous boy who is feeling very overwhelmed by all the changes in his life and is finding his surroundings quite scary at the moment. He is very worried about being handled and it is clear that he has not had much socialisation before, so he is in need of lots of patience, kindness and TLC. Otis will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand that he will need plenty of time to settle in and build his confidence at his own pace. He will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and companion and help show him the ropes. Having a confident canine friend by his side will be very important as Otis begins to learn that the world is not such a scary place. Otis will also need a secure garden with 6ft+ fencing to keep him safe while he gains confidence. He has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he learns all about home life and new skills such as house training. Otis doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and this will need to be introduced very gradually by practicing first in the garden, allowing him to gain confidence before venturing further afield. Otis is a very worried boy who needs someone special to give him the time and understanding he deserves. With a calm environment, a confident canine companion and lots of patience and love, we hope that little by little he will begin to feel safe and discover the happy boy hiding underneath all those worries.  Otis has a travel document.
