Bella

I'd like a quiet, adult-only home to help me relax and feel safe. I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure. I will need a secure garden with minimum 6ft fencing. I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now. Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking. I've started my vaccinations and will be spayed before adoption. 22-09-26 Bella is a frightened girly who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is showing little glimpses of curiosity, but is very flighty at the moment. She will not yet approach us and will try to run away if she feels she can. Once cornered, Bella shuts down and accepts handling, although she is clearly very unsure of what is happening around her. At the moment, Bella is feeling a little less brave and is finding comfort in the company of her kennel friends. We feel it would be best for Bella to be rehomed with another dog for support and companionship. That said, we will continue to assess her confidence while she is with us to see whether she could eventually adapt to being an only dog. As Bella has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. She will need an adult-only home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and who understand the patience and understanding she will need. Due to her nervous nature Bella will need a very secure garden with 6ft fencing to keep her safe. Bella has a worried little soul, but those glimpses of curiosity give us hope that there is a more confident girl waiting to emerge. With time, patience and the reassurance of a kind canine companion, we hope she can begin to feel safe, find her paws and enjoy the fresh start she deserves. Bella has a travel document.
