Jinx

I'd like a quiet, adult-only home to help me relax and feel safe. I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure. I will need a secure garden with minimum 6ft fencing. I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now. Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking. I have a sore eye that is being monitored. 22-09-26 Jinx is an exceptionally frightened boy who has come into our care from a breeder. He will do all he can to run away and hide from us, and it is heartbreaking to witness just how scared he is. Despite his trust issues, he has allowed a small amount of fuss, although he remains very wary and unsure of our intentions. He will need lots of time, patience and gentle handling while he learns that he is safe. Because of this, Jinx will need another kind and confident dog in his new home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system for him as he begins to settle and gain some confidence. We have not yet cat tested Jinx, but given what we have seen from him so far, it is unlikely that he would be suitable to share a home with cats. As Jinx has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. He will need a quiet, experienced home with adopters who understand ex-breeding dogs and are prepared to be very patient with him. Due to his nervous nature, Jinx is currently a flight risk and will need a very secure garden with boundaries of at least 6ft. He is also being muzzle trained to help keep him safe while he learns to cope with the world around him. Jinx has arrived with a sore eye, so we are keeping on top of cleaning it and making sure he is comfortable while we assess this further. Jinx has a long way to go, but the fact that he has already allowed a little fuss shows that there is a gentle side beneath all those worries. We hope that with the right canine companion, experienced adopters and lots of patience, he will slowly learn to trust and discover the safe and loving life he deserves. Jinx has a travel document.
